.  While I was attending Valley Forge Christian College, God opened doors for me to pursue that hobby and gradually, I realized that my hobby was what I wanted to do for a living.  I traveled with the college’s premiere touring ministry bands Chosen and Pneuma in 2009 and 2010 and worked for the college as an audio and recording engineer as well as a lighting tech.  Through that, I was able to learn about event coordination, FOH and monitor engineering for contemporary and classical events, system setup and configuration and more.

I graduated in December 2010 with my  Bachelors of Music in Contemporary Performance and accepted a position as the Production Coordinator of National Community Church which is pastored by Mark Batterson.  It is a unique church that is strategically positioned to reach people on Capitol Hill as well as the DC Metro area and in northern Virginia and currently meets in seven locations.

I have been privileged to work with great professors, event coordinators, co-workers, speakers, musicians, audio engineers, producers, and production companies including: Mark Batterson, David Kinnaman, Bob Goff, Reggie Dabbs, Josh Garrels, Dan MacCauley, Jonathan Lee, Ryan Edger, Ricardo Sanchez, Akil Thompson, Danny Duncan (Vanguard Recording) and many others.

I write and blog about professional audio and production for websites like Sunday| Magazine, WAVE Group, and MusicGearReview.

I’ve been freelancing as an audio engineer in the MD/DC/VA area in my spare time as well.

I thank God for all of the joys as well as the pain in my life.  I believe that coming to a faith in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is the only way to find true happiness and true fulfillment in life.  No matter what happens, I believe that Jesus Christ reigns supreme and I will live my life for Him in everything I say and do.
